Rotary Club of Wasaga Beach - Community Conversations

Monthly Speaker Series – Admission is Free!

Monday 26 January 2026

TOPIC: Understanding Homelessness in Wasaga Beach

Homelessness is often discussed in headlines, but far less understood at the local level. Join us for January’s Community Conversations as we take a thoughtful, informed look at what homelessness means in Wasaga Beach, how it presents in our community, and the realities behind a complex and often misunderstood issue.

This free public session brings together local subject-matter experts for a moderated panel discussion, followed by audience questions and informal conversation. Designed to inform, not inflame, this evening offers residents an opportunity to better understand the challenges, pressures, and perspectives shaping homelessness close to home.

Community Conversations is a monthly speaker series presented by the Rotary Club of Wasaga Beach, bringing residents together on the last Monday of every month (except June and December) to explore issues that matter most to our town — from youth development and community service to climate action, parenting, and
more.

Each event features a moderated panel of local experts or community voices, designed to spark dialogue, connection, and shared learning in a relaxed and accessible setting. Events are free to attend, family-welcoming, and rooted in Rotary’s mission to serve and uplift community life. Each presentation allows audience interaction through a question-and-answer session.
